Apple’s Personal Safety Guide now covers unwanted AirTag tracking

Apple secretly updated his personal safety guide to enter information on how to handle potential airtag tracking, including how to find an airtag that is not yours and what to do with one if you find it.

Because of the initial release of the product, there are questions and concerns about the airtag used to track others without their knowledge, encourage Apple to provide Android users in any unwanted way. While safety guidelines have offered recommendations for individuals who suspect they are tracked through various Apple devices, it does not focus on the potential threat from random strangers.

Update of June 2021 for airtag reduces the amount of time passing before this device emits votes to warn potential tracking (or lost airtag), shorten windows from three days to between eight and 24 hours. However, stalkers are not the only problem, because the airtag has also been used by car thieves to target and supervise upscale vehicles they want to steal.

Apple Airtag Safety Recommendation

Actual information about dealing with airtag tracking can be found in the Stay Guide section with the Airtags section, which explains that when you find an airtag that is not yours and it shouldn’t be there, you can deactivate it, see the serial number, or restore it to the registered person.

According to Apple, during iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch you run iOS 14.5 and then or iPados 14.5 or newer, you will receive a message “Detected item near you” if your device detects AC or other findings of my device nearby for long period of time.

Once detected, you can tap the “Play Sound” to make the airtag emit a tone to help you find it. Or, because the updates mentioned earlier, airtag can start making your own voice after a few hours. When he realizes his presence, you can deactivate it by following the instructions on the screen of your device.

Android users must download the Detect Tracker application from Google Play to search for alleged airtags, however, the application will not automatically check itself. Once installed on your device, you must start the Detect Tracker application and manually scan the device. If an airtag or a similar device is detected, you can also use an Android application to make it a voice to help you find it.
