Jermaine Lamar Cole is an artist, singer, songwriter, and recording producer. He also known as J Cole. Rapper was born in Germany on January 28, 1985, at the military base. He grew up at Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Early life

Cole’s father was an African-American veteran who had served in the US Army for many years. His mother’s name is Kay and he works at the United States Postal Service. Cole and his family were abandoned by his father when he was very young. Jermaine, his brother Zach and their mother lived together at Fayetteville, North Carolina. Both were raised in a multi-ethnic environment, which is why this famous artist feels like he can identify with both sides of his family. The third mixtape came out in 2010. With the lamp name Friday night. He also joined Drake at Dreams Light and Nightmares UK Tour. Cole published his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story in 2011. And it became a certified platinum. Jay-Z is shown on his debut album. After a few months, he published a heating mixtape.

He is married to Melissa Holt and together they have a son. Melissa also attended St. John’s University. She works as the Executive Director of the Dreamville Foundation.
